An advanced communication workshop, disguised as a pajama party :)
Shine a light on loneliness and isolation and join us for an evening of authentic connection, platonic touch and joyful interaction. We’ll explore communication and consent in a gentle, playful and hands-on way. The evening begins with an opening circle and a fully facilitated and interactive workshop on boundaries. We will practice various exercises in pairs and small groups that are designed to hone your authentic communication muscles by
Then the evening opens up for 3 hours of free-style cuddling. This can include giving and receiving hugs, spooning, massage, snuggling, holding hands, kindness and caresses. It can also include snuggling up alone, taking a nap, sharing a laugh and enjoying conversation with or without cuddling.
Important note - You don’t have to cuddle anyone or do anything you don’t want to do at a cuddle party.
This is a non-sexual event. In our culture cuddling and sexuality have been married. There is an assumption that cuddling will lead to sex. This is not true and what we learn in this space will break down the old paradigm and teach you a new way to be.
When– Saturday, October 19th from 5:45–10pm
* The doors open at 5:45 pm allowing 15 minutes to arrive and settled in. The opening circle will start at 6pm. The doors close at this time and there will be no entry past 6pm. This creates comfort and safety by knowing that everyone in attendance is on the same page about rules and expectations.
Where – Location details will be given upon registration (SW Calgary location in the Haysboro area)
Why– Cuddles, fun, expansion, play, authentic connection, communication, boundaries and self-love ♥
Who– All people welcome! (must be 18+)
Cost - $40
Tickets must be purchased in advance via email money transfer to contact@mycuddle.ca - This is required because an event like this works best with gender balance and I need to have these numbers in order, ahead of time.
Ticket sales will close by 11pm on Friday October 18th
What to wear– wear something soft and cuddly- pajamas, yoga-wear, T-shirt & sweats. This event is not sexual, so think flannel, not lace. I also recommend slippers or thick comfy socks.
What to bring– Bring a snack to share. Nothing extravagant that requires cooking on site. Think finger food! I'll provide little plates and forks. Bring a bottle of water too. This is a four hour event, so you want to make sure you stay hydrated.
This is an alcohol and drug-free environment.

"I was unsure what to expect and was a bit nervous coming in but the moment I met the group I felt at ease. Through the conversation, hugs and one on one exercises, by the end of the workshop I felt totally connected to everyone in the room. It is a wonderful place to get the need for human connection and bonding met, a thing that is lacking for many of us in our day to day lives. I left feeling uplifted, happy and peaceful."
